There is hardly any standardised knowledge of how extremist communication unfolds in digital gaming spaces and which criteria should be used for risk assessment.

Expert interviews will be conducted with representatives of the police and experts involved in disengagement work in order to determine the practical needs of police risk/threat management and cross-actor case management in dealing with the online behaviour of highly radicalised users.

The existing criteria for the risk assessment of highly radicalised online behaviour will be further developed on the basis of the empirical findings. There will be a special focus on trialling the new case management in the incel scene.
