2 | Radicalisation processes, dynamics and crime on gaming-related platforms

Althought it is known that radicalisation processes take place on gaming (-adjacent) platforms, the 'how' is still largely unanswered. This is why the modes of interaction, i.e. the communication standards of individuals at risk of radicalisation and those not at risk of radicalisation on gaming(-adjacent) platforms, are being investigated in this work package. Narrative structures, linguistic indicators and networking structures will also be analysed. In addition, a cybercriminological analysis of criminal offences on gaming (-adjacent) platforms will be carried out. The aim of the work package is to develop indicators to identify radicalisation, extremist networks and warning behaviour on gaming (-adjacent) platforms.
